Question of the Day: Have you ever asked God to do something impossible?

Read about It

Read: 1 Kings 17:1–6

God told Elijah that there would be no rain for a few years. Can you imagine? No rain at all sounds impossible! How would people drink and eat? God told Elijah to hide by a small stream of water, and ravens would bring him food. Elijah believed and obeyed God, and he went where God told him to go. And you know what? There was no rain, and birds brought Elijah food, just like God said!

Have you ever had a time in your life when God has told you to do something and you trusted in Him? That is what Elijah did. He knew that God would be true to His word and do what He said. As Elijah camped out, twice a day the ravens brought him food to eat, just as God instructed them to do! That sounds impossible, but it’s true: God is a miracle-working God. Being obedient to do what He tells us to do is one of the best ways to see Him work a miracle.
