• We must properly assess our level of appropriate involvement
• Evaluate your level of relationship and influence
• Do you have enough credits built up with this person for your criticism to be heard?
• Are you willing for your criticism to be rejected?
• Ask yourself “Does this criticism have any hope of being successful?”
• Ask yourself how important is this criticism?
• How to successfully make a criticism
• It must be done face to face
• Be as practical as you possibly can
• If you want to reject or ignore the criticism then count the cost…It will cost you something
• Consider what action or attitude changes need to be made in light of the constructive criticism
